Lakes Community Chapel endeavors to be a caring church, encouraging an atmosphere of inspirational involvement
that will promote spiritual and numerical growth. We utilize creative, exciting, and relevant ministries resulting in dynamic Christians.
What Do SUNDAYS look like at Lakes Chapel?
Sunday morning at Lakes Chapel is a casual, family atmosphere that begins at 10:15 AM with a reading together from Psalms and a time of prayer. This time of worship includes music with our Worship Band and the message from Scripture by our pastor. We are studying through the Bible in 2016, a survey from Genesis to Revelation that reveals Jesus Christ as our only hope, our Savior, our King, from the beginning of the Pentateuch (Genesis through Deuteronomy) to the end of the New Testament book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ penned by the Apostle John.
Before the morning worship service begins the prayer room opens at 9:45 AM. We pray for each group that will meet this week from our nursery through our main worship service on Sunday morning. We pray for our pastor, the musicians, and the teachers and workers serving throughout the building. We pray for our youth group that meets on Sunday afternoons and our Discipleship groups that meet throughout the week. And we pray for you. We invite you to participate in this most important time on Sunday morning.
There is also a fellowship time beginning at 9:45 AM with coffee and a light breakfast, served downstairs in our kitchen. There is a Hospitality Room near the kitchen with a table, couches, and chairs where people may relax and fellowship together until time for the morning service.
Noah’s Ark Nursery, Preschool Kids, and Kidz Zone Children’s ministry workers are in their rooms at 10 AM to allow you enough time to sign in your children into their classes and get to the auditorium for the main service.
Following the 10:15 service, the “Come and See” Group, H20: A Journey of Faith and Essential Truths, meets September through May each year. Both H20: Journey of Faith (An Introduction to who Jesus is) and Essential Truths (Basic Bible Doctrine) are approximately 10 weeks in length. Please contact the church office if you are interested in attending these sessions.
Our youth ministry (LCCYM) for Grades 6-12 meets on Sunday evenings with our amazing and talented youth leaders, Ryne and Danielle. Ryne and Danielle are public school educators, highly energetic, and both grew up in homes with parents who served in full – time youth ministry. Activities and games begin at 5:30 PM followed by a Bible study, snacks, and more activities. Please contact us for more information.
On Sunday evenings Bible studies for adults during the school year. There are men’s and ladies studies lasting 6-10 weeks in length. (Check back in August for information on this Fall’s Bible Studies!)
